Suzy’s Frugal Tips: Ask your Doctor for Coupons & Samples
I was at my doctor’s office today and I saw some tear-pad coupons. This reminded me about all the great coupons and samples that I have received from doctors, dentists, and pediatricians through the years.
Some offices have coupons and samples placed out in the open where you can grab them as you need them. For others, you may have to ask.
For example, my dentist always gives me samples of toothbrushes and toothpaste when I come for a visit. I recently asked about coupons and they had a bunch of high-value coupons that I never would have know about, had I not asked.
My children’s pediatrician almost always has samples for soaps or lotions and coupons for pain relievers or vitamins in the triage room. If you don’t see any samples or coupons, ask if your doctor has any available. Most offices have various samples of baby formula and medications. Just ask.
Back when I was pregnant, I received a TON of great samples and coupons from my OBs office. If you don’t see them, just ask. They should be able to provide you with samples for formula, diapers, wipes, and more!
Did I miss anything? If you are aware of any other great ways to get coupons from your doctors, be sure to let me know so I can add it to this post.
Happy Couponing!
