Have you noticed that many of the new coupons show the logo for Walmart or other grocery stores?  They often say “Redeemable at Walmart” right on the coupon.  You may have thought that this was a Walmart store coupon, but that is not the case.

In most cases, these are actually manufacturer’s coupons, which means they CAN be redeemed at other stores, including Tops Markets.  I have received several questions from readers who have had trouble using these coupons in the past.  I decided to contact Tops Markets myself to get the answer.

Here is the Official Response from the Tops Markets Corporate Office:

As you can see from this letter, these coupons CAN be used at Tops Markets. The only exception would be if a coupon states “Redeemable ONLY at…”.

You may want to print out a copy of this letter and put it in your coupon folder, or save it to your phone.  That way, you can refer to it if you ever have trouble redeeming these coupons in the future.
